Angel Mary Monument Fundraising Update

With construction on our Angel Mary Monument beginning the week of April 7, we are pleased to report we have raised nearly three-quarters of the funds needed to pay for this exceptional project. This is reassuring in that we now have enough funds to cover both the primary construction cost ($41,650) and the LED sign that will be embedded in the right-hand side of the monument ($3,322). As we focus on solemnly closing out the Lenten season, and look forward to joyously celebrating Christ’s resurrection, it is our hope that the roughly $15,000 yet needed to cover the remaining Angel Mary Monument expenses (electrical, statue restoration, descriptor plate, landscaping, and so on) may be raised to allow for project completion by the end of May.

Should you care to help ensure coverage of our remaining Angel Mary Monument expenses, please respond with a check made out to St. John XXIII Congregation with “Angel Mary Project” in the memo line dropped off at, or mailed to, the parish office (1800 N. Wisconsin Street) or placed in the weekend collection basket.
