This Sunday, four people from our community: Camron Beaver, Anna Eidsmoe, Peter Eidsmoe and Jason Krentz will participate in the Rite of Entrance and Welcome which is a public acknowledgment of the journey they are on as they participate in the OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) and prepare to be fully initiated in the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil. Please pray for our candidates and catechumen as well as their sponsors as they continue these important steps on their journey of faith.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2025 Elizabeth Bichler Memorial Scholarship. Last year, four $500 scholarships were awarded. This year, a total of $2,000 will once again be available.

The purpose of the scholarship is to help offset the cost of tuition at a Catholic high school, college, or university. Any student who is a registered member (or whose parents are registered members) of St. John XXIII Catholic Parish and will be attending a Catholic high school, college, or university for the 2025-26 school year is eligible to apply. Application forms are available through the parish office (stop in or call 262-284-4266). The application deadline is Friday, May 16.
