RECYCLING RELIGIOUS ITEMS

The St. Mary Recycle Mission Group collaborates with Catholic churches, schools, and organizations to recycle unwanted religious items. For over 30 years, they have rescued items from closed churches and parishioners, preventing waste and supporting those in need. They accept various religious items (e.g., vestments, crucifixes, statues, altar ware) for recycling efforts. The group began after discovering usable items in a dumpster, and has since helped communities throughout the country. The St. Mary Recycling Mission will be holding a pickup at St. John XXIII. You can drop off items at the Parish Office until December 6.
