Each year, the Mission Office of our Archdiocese invites a missionary group to every parish to share about their mission work. This weekend we welcome the Foundation for Children in Need (FCN), a lay Catholic organization based in Arlington Heights, IL. FCN serves the poor in the interior villages of India. Tom Chitta, the founder of FCN, will share about their work. FCN sponsors 1500 children and college students for their education and 100 elderly for safe and peaceful living. Over the past 11 years, FCN has provided free corrective surgeries for 2300 children born with cleft lip and cleft palate. We welcome Tom and encourage you to generously support their missionary endeavors. There will be a second collection taken up this weekend to support them.
