National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC)
The National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) is a biennial conference that celebrates our Catholic faith and gives high school students some of the tools they will need to live their faith. The NCYC is a phenomenal, life-changing event full of prayer, music, learning, fellowship and fun along with over 23,000 other young Catholics from across the country. Here are some of what the past NCYC participants had to say about their experience: “It blew my mind that so many people were there because of their love in God. This was truly admirable and I’m so blessed I was a part of this…All of the Catholic kids that are just like me and how we can all relate to each other and we are not alone….That 25,000 people can cheer and participate and love Christ so much. It was amazing the amount of love in that stadium….Life changing…Message from speakers applied to all ages! Great experience for all!…This experience was utterly life-changing because I got to feel the presence of God for one of the first times in my life and think that my relationship with God has finally come back together which is an unforgettable experience…It was an amazing experience full of joy and love. An unforgettable weekend.
The next National Catholic Youth Conference takes place from November 18-21 in Indianapolis, Indiana. We will make the journey to Indianapolis with the delegation from the Archdiocese of Milwaukee which includes over 200 young people from across the Archdiocese. During our time there, we will hear from nationally known speakers such as: Sr. Miriam James Heidland, Brian Greenfield, Chika Anyanwu, Noelle Garcia, Archbishop Gustavo Garcia-Siller, Fr. Leo Patalinhug and more. Check out the videos below to get a taste of what NCYC is like.
In order to make NCYC as accessible to as many young people as possible, we offer many different fundraising opportunities. Click the “Sign up genius” button below to sign up for any of the upcoming fund raisers. There is a link to a calendar with all of the important dates, including the fund raisers, below as well. One of our most successful fund raising efforts is the “Letter writing campaign”. Again, see below for more information. Finally, there are different scholarship opportunities available – check back often for more information.
