We are excited to share this special year of sacramental preparation our second grade families and for those young people who have not received First Reconciliation or First Eucharist (Communion) yet! There is much to be thankful for as we work together to prepare for your child’s spiritual growth. We realize that parents are their children’s primary religious educators and that faith starts in the home, yet our sacraments are done as part of a community. We thank you for allowing us to be an integral part of your child’s faith formation.

Preparation for these sacraments are both part of the CRE and school curriculum but also have separate components with both child and parent participation outside of the classroom. SJ23 students are asked to complete a registration form which is part of the CRE registration form since Sacramental preparation is directed through the parish Faith Formation office.
