SJ23 FALL FEST 2024
Our thanks to those who have already picked up raffle tickets. Remarkably, we have nearly exhausted our initial supply of 3,000 and, consequently, have another 1,500 on order. Please be sure to submit your completed ticket stubs and corresponding payment to either the parish or school office or the weekend Mass collection basket.
Now that raffle ticket sales are well underway, it’s time to focus in greater detail on the events taking place Saturday, October 19, the day of this year’s Fall Fest.
Family Focused Outdoor Activities 1:00-4:00 PM
We are very excited to offer a host of family focused outdoor activities from 1:00-4:00 PM. Here’s a snapshot of what you can expect: Games and prizes, live music, hay rides, a bounce house, a mini horse and other animals, free hot cider and coffee, adult beverages for freewill offering, concessions for purchase, a fire pit, a community giveback opportunity with Family Promise, and possibly the most exciting, a Pie Face Challenge! Watch for further details on how you can have your chance to pie some of our beloved teachers, administrators, and parish members. In the event of inclement weather, we will set up in the gym.
As always, we cannot provide these fun-filled activities for our parish and school families without help!
Consequently, we are looking for volunteers to assist with set up, staffing activities, and tear down. Please view our volunteer needs and click the volunteer link below to sign up. Fall Fest Dinner/Raffle Drawing
As for the dinner taking place immediately after our 4:30 PM Mass, the adult menu is set, featuring Swiss steak from Bernie’s Fine Meats, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, and an assortment of homemade salads and desserts. Coffee, milk, and water will also be available, all for just $15 at the door or $12 in advance. Moreover, our Welcoming Committee will have adult beverages on hand in exchange for a free will offering. Dinner tickets are now available through the parish or school offices.
In order to deliver on a fantastic Fall Fest dinner experience, we need a total of 40 kitchen/cafeteria volunteers on Thursday, October 17 (4), Friday, October 18 (11), and Saturday, October 19 (25). In addition, we’re calling on parishioners to provide homemade salads (15) and/or desserts (20) to be delivered to the cafeteria on Saturday from 3:00-5:00 PM. If you can spare a few hours to help out in the kitchen/cafeteria and/or are able to share a favorite salad or dessert, please let us know by signing up through the link below, or by calling the parish office (262-284-4266).
While the dinner is sure to please adults, it may not be as appealing to children. We are open to offering a “kids’ menu” at a nominal charge ($5 at the door, $4 in advance), but would need someone who is willing to lead that effort.
