Foundation for Children in Need

The Foundation for Children in Need (FCN), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2002 by Dr. Geetha Yeruva and Thomas Reddy Chitta, focuses on aiding underprivileged individuals in India. FCN sponsors nearly 1,600 children and college students, along with 100 elderly individuals in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, addressing essential needs like medical care and women’s development. Supported by a dedicated Board of Directors and volunteers, FCN has been active in these regions since 1980. The sponsorship program is managed by part-time staff and volunteers in the U.S. and India. FCN will participate in the Archdiocesan Mission Appeal at St. John XXIII on May 9 & 10.
