Many SJ23 Parishioners are realizing the tax benefits of making their charitable contributions through a donor-advised fund (DAF). A DAF is a charitable investment account that supports organizations you care about.

The cash, securities, or other assets you contribute to a DAF are generally eligible to take an immediate tax deduction. Those funds can be invested for tax-free growth, and you designate the grants or distributions to any eligible IRS-qualified public charity, like SJ23, The Food Pantry, or St. Vincent de Paul Society.

DAFs are the fastest-growing charitable giving vehicle in the United States because they are one of the easiest and most tax-advantageous ways to give to charity. Contact your investment professional to see if a DAF is right for you.

Thank you to those already using DAFs for their Stewardship and other Parish/School donations. Please make sure your DAF provider specifies your name and donation purpose on your distributions.
