From the Desk of Fr. Pat

Dear Parishioners,

Deacon Mike Burch has requested that our Archbishop allow him to move into the category of Senior Deacon. Senior is a term used to indicate moving into retirement from ministry.

Deacon Mike has served in ministry for over 30 years, and has spent the last 8 years in service to our merged parishes as our first business manager and in the diaconal ministry.

I truly appreciate Mike’s ministry to the people of St. John XXIII, and am thankful he will continue to be at some weekend Masses to celebrate with the community. He will also be available to help me in the funeral, and other ministries.

I am grateful to Mike for all he has done and will continue to do in support of our parish and parishioners. Blessings to him as he enters into this new phase of life.
