This Sunday, four people from our community: Camron Beaver, Anna Eidsmoe, Peter Eidsmoe and Jason Krentz will participate in the Rite of Entrance and Welcome which is a public acknowledgment of the journey they are on as they participate in the OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) and prepare to be fully initiated in the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil. Please pray for our candidates and catechumen as well as their sponsors as they continue these important steps on their journey of faith.

You are warmly invited to join fellow parishioners of St. John XXIII as we delve into the Old Testament tale of Joseph, one of Jacob’s twelve sons.

This three-part series will be experienced through the lens of the 1995 film “Joseph.” In our final session, we will witness Joseph’s encounter with Pharaoh.

As stated in Genesis 42:33-34, “Then the man, the Lord of the land (Joseph) said to us, ‘Bring your youngest brother to me; then I shall know that you are not spies but honest men, and I will deliver to you your brother, and you shall trade in the land.’”

Join us on Tuesday, May 6, at St. John XXIII – St. Peter’s Church site, at 6:45 PM in room 142. For any questions, please contact Mark Goeden at evangelization@stjohn23rd.org or 262-370-2345.
